The Climb on BBC Radio 4

BBC Radio Drama commissioned me to write a drama documentary, called The Climb, about cycling and jazz music for the Radio 4 Afternoon Play. It was broadcast on July 4th 2007.

It contained music especially composed for the play by Soweto Kinch and an interview with him.

An extract from the play was featured on Pick of the Week on July 8th.

The cast featured Raquel Cassidy and Mark Arends and it was directed by Suzanne Bell.

A fourth production of this play for young people happened in December 2007 in The Lake District.
